The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is almost here and we are ready to cheer as we watch this year’s parade! We thought it would be fun to do a Thanksgiving Day Parade Scavenger Hunt for the parade this year.

Thanksgiving Day Parade Scavenger Hunt

This year is the 95th year of watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 25th! Many families consider this the launch of the holiday season. Have you ever traveled to watch it in person? I know that would so much fun! But in reality, most of us will watch on TV.

Does your family enjoy watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade? Mine does! But I like the idea of my kids being more than just passive watchers. And let’s be honest, the Macy’s Parade is pretty long! This Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Scavenger Hunt is a great way to get your children to participate instead of simply watching.

All you need to do is download this printable scavenger hunt, print one copy for each child (or they can work in teams or with an adult if they’re too young to do it alone), grab a pencil, and get started!

Did you know there is an annual poster for the parade? There is! You can see this year’s poster below.

But what I enjoy the most every year is watching for new character balloons:

New novelty balloons:

New floats:

Want to see a sneak peek of the new balloons? Today snuck in to give us one!!

If you want to see this year’s entire parade lineup of all the character helium balloons, fantastic floats, incredible marching bands, jubilant performance groups, whimsical clowns, music stars, and the one-and-only Santa Claus, you might want to head over to the official Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Fandom website.

We hope this game helps you and your family enjoy this fun Thanksgiving tradition even more!
